Lunch On the Lawn
A Fun time when all Calabash Elementary School families are invited to have lunch on the school playground together! Bring lunch for the whole family and enjoy meeting your child’s friends, other Calabash families, teachers and staff.
Fall Festival
Calabash PTA celebrates Halloween and the coming of fall during this exciting event. Carnival games, food, rides and a silent auction help raise PTA funds and create a sense of fun and inclusion for calabash students, faculty and friends.
PTA Spell a Thon
Spell a Thon is a week long spelling competition. Parents, friends, family and businesses are invited to sponsor their favorite Calabash student in our very own Spelling Bee. All students receive a certificate of participation and other awards.
Walk a Thon
Calabash PTA encourages healthy bodies and minds. All students take part in the walk a thon and each receives a medal of participation. Calabash students can be sponsored by friends, family and businesses at any level. Our students look forward each year to showing their Calabash pride at this event.
Holiday Boutiques
Christmas, Chanukah, Mother's day and Father's day boutiques make shopping creative and fun for Calabash Students. On each holiday a small boutique is set up in the school’s auditorium and students are invited to purchase gifts for family, friends, and even special teachers!
Silent Auction Dinner Dance
The silent auction dinner dance is the PTA’s biggest event of the year. All Calabash parents, friends, faculty, and staff are invited to join our PTA in an evening of dinner and dancing. The silent auction is made up of themed baskets created by each classroom's students. Teachers offer themselves up for auction of a special outing with the winning bid! Each year is always guaranteed to be an exciting event with great items to bid on.
Green Eggs and Ham Day
Calabash PTA helps celebrate Dr Seuss week with green eggs and ham. Yes our volunteers actually serve green eggs and ham to students! Sam I am would not miss it.
Restaurant Nights
Each month Calabash Elementary School PTA partners with local restaurants to help our school. Restaurant nights are great fun for Calabash families to get to know each other in a new environment while supporting our school’s PTA.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Help celebrate the contributions of each of our wonderful Calabash teachers. Each day of this week a special treat can be presented to any of your child’s favorite teachers. We thank our teachers for all they do during the school year!

Magazine Drive
Our School’s magazine drive takes place during the month of November. Magazines make a perfect for any one including our calabash kids! Our annual magazine drive is one of our most popular fund raisers of the year.
