What The League is About: FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international program for children ages 9-14. It combines a hands-on, interactive robotics program and a research presentation with a sports-like atmosphere. Teams consist of up to 10 members and focus on such things as team building, problem solving, creativity, and analytical thinking.

Where do we meet?

The Calabash team meets:
Weekdays: one weekday afternoon 2:30pm to 4:30pm (Day TBD)
Weekend :1:00pm to 4:00pm (actual days to be determined)

Tournaments:
There are usually two tournaments each year. The locations of the tournaments vary. 2007 was Placerita Middle School and Legoland. 2008 may be Magic Mountain and Los Angeles (still undetermined).

Awards:

There are a series of tournaments with the possibility of awards and advancement if scores are high enough.
